The Philadelphia Fusion just recently announced the arrival of South Korean tank player Kim “Mano” Dong-gyu from the New York Excelsior.
A great rival in seasons past, it's time to see how he does playing with us instead of against us…
Give a warm welcome to @Mano_OWL, joining Fusion for the 2021 Season!

Mano even expressed his excitement to be a part of the organization and he aims to bring the organization the success that they've been longing for.
It is my huge honor to be part of the team Fusion. Maybe this message can be cliché, but I will always try my best to win! Thank you https://t.co/zQWnIU0uim

The 24-year old has been a staple to the Excelsior since its formulative years in 2017 thus the reports of his departure from his previous club surprised Overwatch fans.
His playstyle which revolves around a cautious and strategic tank play especially from his usage of Reinhardt could benefit the Fusion in their upcoming campaign.
Hours before the announcement, Mano mentioned in one of his Tweets that his contract with the Excelsior has expired. He even mentioned through a longer version of his Tweet that he had a wonderful time with the organization. Though he enjoyed his overall experience with the club, Mano never had a chance to bring them the Overwatch League title.
Thank you and Goodbye NYXL

This wasn't the only move that the Fusion executed in the offseason as they even acquired Bumhoon “NineK” Kim last October, to serve as the team's head coach who last made his stint in the Overwatch League last year with the San Francisco Shock.
