Newly installed Dallas Mavericks assistant coach Jared Dudley will be a very busy man when training camp tips off. But for now, he's still spending his free time lurking the mean streets of Twitter.

Dudley will always look back with fondness on his two-year stint with the Los Angeles Lakers. He helped the team win a title in the NBA Bubble, providing veteran leadership despite his limited minutes.

He saw his playing time even dwindle to almost nothing last season, playing only 12 games on an average of 6.8 minutes. Because of this, Dudley has been the subject of various memes on social media, chiding him for riding the bench and wasting a roster spot on the Lakers.

One Twitter page even made a ā€œcompilationā€ of his highlights during his final stint with the Lakers. But always a fun-loving guy, Dudley appreciated the humor.

To quote the eminent philosopher Ron Burgundy: Dudley wasn't even mad, that's amazing!

His last season with the Lakers proved to be Dudley's final NBA campaign, as he was lured by Mavericks coach Jason Kidd to join his staff. They sure developed a bond together during their stint with the Lakers, as Kidd spent time as Frank Vogel's assistant coach. Dudley spending extended time on the bench will only bode him well as a deputy tactician for the Mavericks.

While many make fun of Jared Dudley, there's no denying that he had a solid playing career. How many guys can say they spent 15 years in the NBA? Not many.
