Luka Doncic couldn't get the smile off his face after leading the Dallas Mavericks to an incredible Game 7 blowout of the top-seeded Phoenix Suns. Well, why would he anyway?

The Slovenian wonderboy can certainly smile all he wants and rub it onto the Suns. He was sensational on Sunday, and his amazing start opened the floodgates to cool down Phoenix before they even had the chance to get hot.

It was clear on Luka's face and response in his postgame presser how delighted he is.

“This was a great win. I can't stop repeating that. My bad,” Doncic said, per Callie Caplan of the Dallas Morning News.

Luka Doncic scored 27 points in the first half, and to put that into perspective, the whole Suns scored as much in the same span. The Mavs star credited the team's defense for it, but no one undermine his scoring feat that just dealt a severe blow to Phoenix's confidence.

The 23-year-old Doncic finished with 35 points and 10 rebounds in the game, but that's because he did not play in the final quarter with Dallas already up by 42 points after the third frame.

The Mavs will need Luka to replicate his Game 7 display when they face the Golden State Warriors in the Western Conference Finals. By the looks of it, though, Jason Kidd doesn't need to remind him of that.
