Dallas Mavericks rookie Luka Doncic believes that the Dirk Nowitzki deserves all the respect and attention that he is getting with the Mavs this season.
Several teams, players, and fans have shown a lot of respect to Nowitzki this season, knowing that it could be the last for the Mavs legend. Doncic pointed out that his teammate deserves all of the fanfare, and he is actually looking for more in their remaining games.
Doncic, who is considered as one of the most promising players in the league, said that Nowitzki changed the game a lot.
The Slovenian rookie strongly believes that Nowitzki is one of the main reasons why there are so many big players nowadays who loves to shoot from beyond the arc.

Nowitzki is playing in the 21st season of his career.
While he has not made any official announcement about his Mavs future, the 40-year-old forward is expected to call it quits after the 2018-19 NBA season. The league even made him an honorary member, along with Dwyane Wade, of the All-Star teams this season.
The German superstar has played in 46 games this season, where he averaged 6.5 points and 2.7 rebounds in 14.6 minutes per game. In his 21 seasons in the league, the 14-time All-Star averaged 20.8 points on top of 7.6 rebounds and 2.4 assists.
The 2007 Most Valuable Player is considered as one of the best international players in NBA history.
