One of the best series we all witnessed in this year's playoffs went down in the second round between the Dallas Mavericks and the Phoenix Suns. After a hard-fought seven-game war, it was the Mavs who prevailed, en route to booking their spot in the Western Conference Finals against the Golden State Warriors.

As it turns out, Luka Doncic and the Mavs got some help from Miami Heat veteran PJ Tucker, who incidentally, suited up for the Suns a few years back. According to Dallas assistant coach Jared Dudley, Tucker provided the Mavs with some tactical pointers on how to best defeat the Suns ahead of their do-or-die Game 7 battle:

Tucker played five seasons with the Suns and he certainly knows a thing or two about the team's playbook. Whether or not his advice played a key role for the Mavs in defeating the Suns in the second round this season is a mystery we will probably never uncover.

Either way, this makes for a hilarious narrative. Then again, it's definitely not funny for the Suns. At this point, it is clear that PJ Tucker has very little loyalty, if any, to his former team. That is just brutal.
