Dallas Mavericks guard Seth Curry is spending the offseason in the most adorable of ways. In a Twitter post on Monday made by the Mavericks, Curry was seen invading a classroom full of kids to preach the value of reading.

In the age when technology is rapidly sucking away the younger generation’s interest in reading, it’s good to know that Curry is here to help campaign for literature.

Reading is great, but no offense to Seth Curry, this event would’ve been even more memorable for the kids if it was Dirk Nowitzki who showed up. When these youngsters become grandparents some day it’s more fun to tell their grandkids the story of that one time when a basketball Hall of Famer walked into their classroom and read them passages from the story of Hänsel und Gretel.

Although a long shot, Curry might still be able to achieve greater heights in his career and earn himself star status eventually.
