Kristaps Porzingis of the Dallas Mavericks played his first game back in Madison Square Garden, the home of the New York Knicks, after being traded by the venerable franchise last season.

At the halftime buzzer, Porzingis seemingly forgot which team he was on, as he was so used to heading back to the Knicks’ locker room after spending the first three seasons of his career with the Knicks:

After being drafted 4th overall in the 2015 NBA Draft, Porzingis quickly became a tremendous two-way player for New York and was named to the All-Star game a mere month before he tore his ACL in February of 2018.

Now, on his new team, Porzingis has packed on muscle and looks to be ready to help his new teammate Luka Doncic deliver a playoff berth to the Mavs in a stacked Western Conference.

However, he must first go to the correct locker room at halftime. One step at a time, Kristaps.
