Jaylen Brown is testing the Dallas Mavericks' rookie sensation Luka Doncic. The Boston Celtics guard floored Doncic as he was coming down the floor following the Mavs rookie's sweet drop-off dish to DeAndre Jordan, who finished with a huge slam.

After his slick pass to his high-flying big man, Doncic came back down for defense but was looking in another direction. Brown seemed to take advantage of this and blind-sided Doncic with hard shoulder shiver on the chest that dropped the Slovenian Wonder Boy on his backside.

Doncic seemed to favor his back after taking the hard fall on the floor, but was fine and got back up immediately. He certainly did not appreciate the hit as he confronted Brown as soon as he made it back to his feet. A heated exchange between the two ensued shortly, as teammates from both sides tried to calm the situation down.

Brown received a technical for the unsportsmanlike behavior. Moreover, DeAndre Jordan was also penalized with technical for hanging on the rim a little bit too long.

Luka Doncic did have the last laugh on the evening as his Mavs edged out the Celtics, 113-104 at home. The Mavs' star rookie finished with 15 points on 5-of-11 shooting, also adding in three triples, eight assists, and three steals in 31 minutes. The win puts Dallas at .500 as they improve to 9-9.

Brown, on the other hand, had an efficient evening shooting from the field, making seven of his nine attempts en route to 16 points, while adding five rebounds in 30 minutes of action. However, Boston's slow start to a season with high expectations continues as they drop to 10-10 on the year.
