Micheal Jordan is well-known for his basketball skills and ownership of the Charlotte Hornets, and now he has decided to dip his toes in NASCAR and has pegged Bubba Wallace as the driver for his team, 23XI. Jordan's NASCAR team will compete at the 2021 Daytona 500, which will kick off the new NASCAR Cup Series.

Jordan has always shown his love for motorsports, and his new NASCAR team will be making its long-awaited debut in the Cup Series on Sunday at the Daytona 500, which is racing's biggest stage. In doing so, Jordan named Wallace as his driver and revealed his explanation as to why saying that he noticed Wallace has the same “DNA” as the six-time NBA Champion.

All Jordan does is win, except for the Hornets for the time being, and the new NASCAR team is not an exception. It should come as no surprise that he is seeking out guys with a winning and championship mentality as he looks to make his mark in the NASCAR world and Daytona.

Wallace was in a good position as he was slated to start in sixth on the starting grid for the race, but due to a couple of failed inspections before the race, he had to be moved to the back of the line, which will make it harder for Wallace and Jordan's team in their first appearance.

The NASCAR game has a new team, with Jordan leading the way and hopes of winning nonetheless. Wallace will have his hands full as Sunday afternoon rolls around and the Daytona kicks off, but whenever Jordan is tied to something, winning should be expected.
