NBA 2K22 is releasing in a few weeks, and we get another Courtside Report talking about new gameplay features for NBA 2K22. We also get the much-awaited gameplay trailer, showing off just how the game will look like and feel like. But we really can't tell a lot of details from the trailer alone, so the Courtside Report helps in fleshing out the details.

NBA 2K22 appears to be the series' most ambitious title so far, pushing the boundaries of what Visual Concepts can do with an NBA 2K title. The objective was to create faster-paced gameplay, tighter and more responsive movement, and more skill-based offense. The Courtside Report talked about how changes in gameplay affected Defense, Defensive AI, Dribbling, Post Play, Shooting, Finishing, Builds, Badges, and Takeover. They even listed down some of the new badges that players can add to their MyPlayers' repertoire on the court. These badges increase the total badge count to 80, which are all available in current-gen consoles. Exclusive to next-gen consoles are the Takeover Perks, modifiers that can be unlocked and equipped to further improve Takeover abilities.
