The NBA has announced the participants for the Rising Stars Challenge, an All-Star Weekend showcase of the NBA’s best rookies and sophomores.

It will be Team World vs. Team USA.

Team World is headed by Dallas Mavericks rookie sensation Luka Doncic and Philadelphia 76ers star Ben Simmons. They will be joined by Toronto Raptors forward O.G. Anunoby, Phoenix Suns center Deandre Ayton, Sacramento Kings forward Bogdan Bogdanović, LA Clippers guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Brooklyn Nets swingman Rodions Kurucs, Chicago Bulls stretch-forward Lauri Markkanen, Minnesota Timberwolves guard Josh Okogie and Cleveland Cavaliers forward Cedi Osman.

Team USA, meanwhile, will feature two Los Angeles Lakers players in Lonzo Ball and Kyle Kuzma. Moreover, last year's top rookies Jayson Tatum (Boston Celtics) and Donovan Mitchell (Utah Jazz) are also part of the group.

Completing the Team USA squad are Nets center Jarrett Allen, Kings stars Marvin Bagley III and De'Aaron Fox, Memphis Grizzlies' center Jaren Jackson Jr., and Atlanta Hawks young guns Trae Young and John Collins,

The Rising Stars Challenge takes place on Feb. 15 at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Rivals from last years' Rookie of the Year race, Ben Simmons and Donovan Mitchell will be on opposing teams. Trae Young and Luka Doncic, the two front-runners for this year's Rookie of the Year, will also be competing against each other.

It should be a fun game.
