“Hustle” stars Adam Sandler and Juancho Hernangomez made their picks for the NBA Finals between the Golden State Warriors and Boston Celtics, and it is interesting to say the least.

In an interview with Collider taped before the NBA Finals, Sandler and Hernangomez were asked who they think will win between the Warriors and Celtics. Of course Hernangomez picked the Celtics–Boston drafted Bo Cruz, duh–but Sandler wasn't as certain as his co-star.

Hernangomez, who actually played for Boston this 2021-22 season before he was traded in August, shared his love for the team and highlighted how they are a team that never backs down even amidst adversity. For him, that's a quality that will definitely help the franchise win.

“I will go with Boston. I played there, I know the team, I know how good they are, I know how they keep going [despite] the bad moments,” Hernangomez shared.

Sandler, for his part, couldn't decide given how talented both teams are. He did share that the Celtics have a great chance to “pull it off,” but it's just difficult to count the Warriors out in an NBA Finals series.

“I don't know who's gonna win this series. I know if the Celtics do pull it off, which I think there's a good possibility. They are good, their defense is insane. … But good lord, the Warriors are stacked too,” Sandler explained.

Stanley Sugerman is with the Philadelphia 76ers, and given Sandler's newfound affinity with the team, he might not want the Celtics to win.

Kidding aside, it's easy to see where both Juancho Hernangomez and Adam Sandler are coming from. The Celtics are great and already have the 2-1 lead, but the Warriors' NBA Finals experience make them hard to beat in a seven-game showdown. All in all, as the two said, it'll definitely be a fun series.
