The NBA just unveiled its new logo commemorating the league's 75th anniversary Season and, as always, fans immediately brought out their grills and started roasting the new-look design. Summertime is the perfect time to roast, right?

Here's a look at the brand new logo for the upcoming 2021-2022 NBA season ā€“ before we (I mean you all) set it on fire (via NBA):

This new logo, according to the league, will be appearing basically everywhere for the entire 2021-2022 NBA season ā€“ from teams' courts, official merchandise, broadcasts, and social media.

After a ton of rumors and conversations about possibly changing the original logo, the league has now officially slammed all those talks by sticking with a rather safe choice. Despite the clamor of replacing the iconic Jerry West silhouette, which has become the face of the league since 1969, the league simply chose to put the very classic NBA logo inside a diamond ā€“ to commemorate the league's diamond anniversary.

Obviously, people were quick to judge the new-look NBA logo. Here are some rather ā€œcreativeā€ ones:

The Phoenix Suns, one of the last two teams standing in the NBA right now alongside the Milwaukee Bucks, also got some Suns-inspired NBA logos:

Even Dallas Morning News reporter Brad Townsend put his name in the hat for a possible logo entry:

It's going to be another tough season for NBA commissioner Adam Silver with all these new changes. At this rate, people might only get used to this new logo by the time the next season is almost done. Maybe, just maybe, by then we'll get a legit new logo. Until then, well, we have this.
