Russell Westbrook badly missed a wide-open and potentially go-ahead three-pointer that would have put the Houston Rockets up by two in the dying seconds of the fourth quarter. The Los Angeles Clippers not only appreciated the brick but it also brought immense joy to point guard Patrick Beverley who quickly taunted the former Most Valuable Player on the next dead ball.

The Clippers' defensive pest fouled out a few possessions earlier and can be seen mocking Westbrook's shooting form and the Rockets guard fired back repeatedly calling him “trash”.

The two rekindled their feud recently after the Rockets' triumph over the Clippers last week during which Westbrook downplayed the defensive acumen of Beverley saying he doesn't actually do anything. The guards go way back when Beverley, as a member of the Rockets several years ago, sidelined the then Oklahoma City Thunder All-Star while attempting to steal the ball on a timeout.

There are two more Rockets-Clippers games in the pipeline and perhaps in the playoffs should they cross paths, and this would certainly provide more compelling highlights.
