The Boston Celtics are expected to field eight players for their matchup with the Miami Heat on Sunday—the league minimum for an active roster.

Marc Stein of the New York Times shared the Celtics official injury report, via Sports Illustrated's Chris Mannix. As Stein pointed out, all but eight players are listed on the report.

Jaylen Brown, Semi Ojeleye, and Javonte Green are questionable due to COVID-19 health and safety protocols. Jayson Tatum is doubtful.

Tristan Thompson, Grant Williams, and Robert Williams have been ruled out due to virus concerns and will have to self-isolate for a minimum of seven days.

Kemba Walker (knee) and Romeo Langford (wrist surgery) remain out, as well.

Earlier on Saturday, The Athletic's Shams Charania reported that Tatum will enter quarantine and miss up to two weeks of action. Tatum, per Mark Murphy of the Boston Herald, had a COVID-19 test come back positive with the team awaiting a confirmation test.

On Friday, Robert Williams was found to have tested positive for COVID-19, threatening an outbreak within the Boston locker room. Williams' diagnosis forced Thompson and Grant Williams to enter protocol for contact tracing, per the Boston Globe's Adam Himmelsbach.

Tatum has averaged 26.9 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 3.8 assists per game so far in 2020-21 while shooting 43.8 percent from beyond the arc.

Over the next two weeks—after the Bulls game—Boston will face the Orlando Magic twice, the New York Knicks, and the Philadelphia 76ers twice. The Sixers are dealing with their own COVID-19 issues and will similarly be limited to eight players for their game against the Denver Nuggets on Saturday.

The Celtics are 7-3 on the season.
