Boston Celtics head coach Brad Stevens had high praise for his team's effort in Tuesday night's impressive road win against the Golden State Warriors. As part of his post-game assessment, Stevens likened the approach his players took to that of a businessman.

“I think we played with purpose all the way through. We were very businesslike the whole night, even at halftime and just now after the game,” Stevens told ESPN following Tuesday's 128-95 victory. “We know we haven't played like that enough but It's encouraging as a reminder that we can.”

Boston handled the Warriors with relative ease on Tuesday night, but their performance against the Houston Rockets on Sunday was less than impressive. As a team, the Celtics went 8-for-28 from beyond the arc. Against the Warriors on Tuesday night, however, the C's knocked down 14 of their 34 shots from downtown.

Gordon Hayward led the charge for Boston in Tuesday night's matchup. In 28 minutes of action off the bench, the former Butler Bulldog racked up a plus/minus rating of +32, scoring 30 points on 12-of-16 shooting from the field (4-of-6 from beyond the arc), seven rebounds, four assists and two steals.

It was just one win, but it came against the defending champions. According to NBA.com, Golden State's 33-point loss was their biggest of the season and worst blowout at home during coach Steve Kerr’s five-year tenure.

With Tuesday's win, the Celtics improved to 6-6 on the road against the Western Conference. Their next shot at claiming a victory comes on Wednesday night, when they'll travel to Sacramento for a matchup against the Kings.
