Most Boston Celtics fans are waiting on updates about Kyrie Irving's knee. The playoffs are right around the corner and the fans wouldn't like it at all if Irving is still on the sidelines while the rest of the Celtics battle for that championship.

But Celtics fans need not worry. General manager Danny Ainge himself is not concerned about Uncle Drew's knee. In an interview on 98.5 The Sport’s Hub’s Toucher & Rich, Ainge said:

“I’m not concerned at all,” he said. “I’m just saying, like, his knee is very structurally sound. It’s not, like, a long-term thing. There could still be some challenges. We tried to do a minimal amount of surgery at this moment and it might require some more. But we don’t know any of that. I’m just guessing. I don’t know. I’ll probably have a much better update on how he’s doing when I return. I’m with the team right now and I’ll see him tomorrow.”

Danny Ainge did not reveal exactly when will Uncle Drew be back. The latest update came in on March 24, stating that he'll be back to basketball activities in three-to-six weeks.

Yet from the tone of his voice, Ainge seemed confident that Irving will come back at the right moment. Though Kyrie is their best player, the Celtics have a pretty deep team led by Al Horford along with Jalen Brown and Jayson Tatum.

They may be inconsistent at times but when head coach Brad Stevens locks in, the Celtics are able to stack up victory after victory.
