After the Boston Celtics got blown out by the Toronto Raptors on Tuesday by a final score of 118-95, general manager Danny Ainge and star point guard Kyrie Irving had a one-on-one conversation in the locker room before the media was let in.

It's unclear what the two were discussing.

With the loss to the Raptors, the Celtics are now 37-24 on the season. For any other team in the NBA, that would be a good record and the team would just move on after a tough loss to a Raptors team which is one of the best teams in the league.

But this isn't just any other team. Boston was the preseason pick to win the Eastern Conference now that LeBron James is in the West playing for the Los Angeles Lakers. The Celtics are returning with the same roster that went to Game 7 of the 2018 Eastern Conference Finals and are essentially adding Kyrie Irving and Gordon Hayward since both players missed the 2018 postseason due to separate injuries.

Irving told fans before the season he was planning to re-sign with Boston in the summer. Now, no one knows if Kyrie is actually going to keep his word after everything that has transpired this season.

Danny Ainge was probably just checking in with Irving to see if everything is okay after a terrible loss on national television.
