With the NBA's trade deadline just over a month away, several teams around the league are searching for ways to bolster their respective rosters. Boston Celtics general manager Danny Ainge, however, seems to be content with the squad he has now.

Via Darren Hartwell of NBC Sports:

“We're always looking to upgrade our team if those opportunities present themselves. But I think that's going to be tough,” Ainge said Thursday on 98.5 The Sports Hub's “Toucher & Rich.”

“As far as trading players, I don't really see much out there,” Ainge added. “We have a lot of good ones. It's hard to get better players than we have.”

Ainge is right. The Celtics do have a talented roster — one filled with names like Kyrie Irving, Al Horford and Gordon Hayward. In fact, because of the talent littered across their roster, most experts and analysts projected Boston to be a top contender for the Eastern Conference crown before the start of this season.

Whether or not that premonition comes to fruition remains to be seen.

The Celtics have a treasure trove of picks at their disposal, which could be enticing to a lot of teams around the league. If Boston is indeed after another elite player, as some reports have indicated, they'll likely be asked to include one of these draft selections.

Boston has a solid squad, to be sure. Unless there are major changes (or setbacks) in the next few weeks, Ainge will likely keep the team's core in tact.

The Celtics (22-15 and 3rd in the Atlantic Division standings) will be back in action on Friday, when they'll welcome the Dallas Mavericks to Beantown.

Tip-off inside TD Garden is set for 8:00 p.m ET with ESPN having live broadcast coverage.
