While the likes of Jayson Tatum, Marcus Smart, and Danny Ainge have all responded to Kyrie Irving's remarks about racist fans in Boston, Jaylen Brown has now chimed in. The Celtics star, who is unfortunately out until next season with a hamstring injury, wasn't pleased with Irving's comments.
Jaylen Brown: "I know not every Celtics fan is a racist. We have a lot of fans from all walks of life and all colors. Painting every Celtics fan as a racist is unfair, but Boston we have a lot of work to do."

While Brown did acknowledge that racism is indeed real in Boston, he clearly thinks it's unfair for Kyrie to make the comments he did. After all, his time in a Celtics uniform didn't go very well in the first place so there's no love lost.
For context, Irving initially said that he was hoping to not hear any racist remarks when he returns to the TD Garden on Friday night. Ainge fired back on Thursday, saying he's never heard a Celtics fan make any comments of that nature.

However, Smart actually backed up the Nets star and said that he has heard these remarks before from the Celtics faithful. As for Brown, he also continued on to bash Kyrie for bringing this up when they're in the heat of a playoff series:
Jaylen Brown says he was urged to share his perspective: "Racism should be addressed. Systemic racism should be addressed. It should be addressed in Boston and throughout the United States. But I do not like the way it was brought up in the construct of a playoff game."

This comes just after two different fans were banned in New York and Philly after one spit on Trae Young, while the other threw popcorn on Russell Westbrook. Whether Irving has heard these comments or not, Brown has made it clear: Celtics fans and all supporters must have more respect for these players.
