The Boston Celtics are in a tough spot. Down 3-games-to-2 in the NBA Finals against the Golden State Warriors, they are now faced with the task of completing a comeback with one of the best playoff teams of this generation on the other side. No easy feat, even for this Celtics team, which has had a knack for responding to adversity. On Wednesday, Celtics star Jayson Tatum was asked if the team needed a ‘hero speech' to get them motivated for Thursday's Game 6. Tatum delivered an honest response, per the NBA's Twitter account.
"We know what's at stake."

Tatum said that the Celtics “know what's at stake” against the Warriors. The talented forward noted that everyone should be “juiced up to play” without a hero speech even being required.
Tatum is right. There should be no need for a Ime Udoka, rah-rah speech before Game 6. Of course, there's nothing wrong with a coach wanting to give his guys that extra push.

However, on the NBA Finals stage against this opponent- who has a chance to secure yet another title– the Celtics should have all the motivation they need to kick start their comeback on Thursday night.
The Celtics hadn't lost back-to-back games all postseason long. With the season on the line, Tatum and company will try to execute a comeback against the Dubs.
Hold the hero's speech, please.
