Following the Jacob Blake shooting in Wisconsin, Boston Celtics small forward Jayson Tatum felt compelled to talk about what it really means to be a Black man in America.
Blake, who is currently paralyzed from the waist down after being shot in the back by Kenosha police, is the latest unarmed African American to get shot by the police.

Jayson Tatum on if he's discouraged by the lack of progress made by the players' efforts: "It's hard not to get discouraged. But it's hard to think the world will be perfect in 3-4 months. We can't stop what we're doing. Setbacks are a part of progress with change."

The Celtics and Toronto Raptors have discussed the possibility of boycotting their second-round series. Game 1 is on Thursday, and players from both teams have admitted they have had talks about doing something drastic.
Jayson Tatum and the Celtics are coming off a sweep against the Philadelphia 76ers. Tatum averaged 27.0 points, 9.8 rebounds and 2.5 assists in the Sixers series while shooting 48.7 percent from the field, 45.2 percent from beyond the arc and 72.0 percent from the free-throw line.
Toronto is coming off a sweep as well, as they defeated the Brooklyn Nets in the first round.
The Celtics-Raptors series should be a good one, assuming it does happen. Don't be surprised if the series goes seven games since both teams are evenly matched and led by great coaches and All-Stars, including Jayson Tatum.
