Boston Celtics All-Star Kemba Walker is being listed as questionable for Friday night's game against the Atlanta Hawks due to flu-like symptoms.
Walker, who joined the Celtics this past offseason, missed Thursday morning's practice session due to the illness. Jaylen Brown, who has also been dealing with an illness, was able to participate in practice and will likely be available:

The fact that Walker could be sidelined against the Hawks is unfortunate for the Celtics, as he's the team's primary option on the offensive end of the floor. Hopefully, he'll be able to recover sooner rather than later.

In his 30 appearances with the Celtics this season, Walker has racked up averages of 22.5 points on 43.2 percent shooting from the field (39.8 percent from beyond the arc), 5.2 assists, 3.9 rebounds and just under one steal (0.9) in 32.3 minutes per outing. His leadership in the locker room has also been a huge asset.
Kemba Walker squared off against his former team on Tuesday night, scoring 22 points in a 109-92 win over the Hornets. With the victory, Boston secured a three-game season sweep over Charlotte.
Friday night's matchup between the Celtics and Hawks is scheduled to tip inside TD Garden at 7:00 p.m ET. Boston has won six of its last seven games. Atlanta, on the other hand, had dropped 10 straight before Monday's victory over the Orlando Magic.
