The Boston Celtics will host the Atlanta Hawks on Friday night, but it sounds like they'll be without several players, including Kyrie Irving and Marcus Morris.
Irving, now 25 years of age, was held out of Wednesday night's 103-73 win over the New York Knicks, as he's been dealing with a right quad contusion. The former Duke Blue Devil has played in 48 games for the Celtics this season, averaging 24.9 points on 48.6 percent shooting from the field (40.2 percent from beyond the arc), 5.0 assists, and 3.7 rebounds.
Back-up point guard Shane Larkin will miss his third consecutive game with a knee injury, which means Terry Rozier will likely get the starting nod.

As a result, the Celtics have decided to hold the former Kansas Jayhawk out of Friday's game. In his 30 games played this season, Morris has posted averages of 12.1 points on 42.4 percent shooting from the field (35.6 percent from downtown), 5.3 rebounds, and 1.4 assists.
