Boston Celtics legend and Hall of Fame finalist Paul Pierce was recently cut by ESPN. The firing came after he went to Instagram Live and streamed a video of him being in a room with exotic dancers.
Despite what has happened in his life and career, the former NBA player and Celtics icon does not seem to be too bothered.

ESPN is under the Walt Disney Company, so Paul Pierce's release was expected since the parent company has a family-friendly reputation.
Article Continues BelowThe Truth joined ESPN as an analyst shortly after his retirement from the NBA in 2017, and he was a regular in segments like “The Jump” and “NBA Countdown.” The ex-Celtics star provided insights on these shows and controversial takes, chief among them was when he said that he was a better player than Dwyane Wade. This opinion surprised even his co-hosts.
He also made a way-off prediction in the 2019 Eastern Conference Semifinals when the Milwaukee Bucks lost the first game of a series to the Celtics. Pierce expected the series to be a done deal for Boston, but the Bucks ended up winning four straight games.
Pierce had an illustrious 19-year NBA career. He last played with the Los Angeles Clippers, but he signed a ceremonial contract with the Celtics so he could retire as part of the team.
