The Boston Celtics are currently struggling mightily, which might even be an understatement at this point. With veteran point guard Kyrie Irving at the forefront of such a string of disappointing performances from the Celtics, Boston continues to slide in the standings as the attitude of the team as a whole becomes more negative with each passing day.
However, former Los Angeles Lakers big man and NBA legend Shaquille O'Neal have some advice for his Uncle Drew co-star and the Celtics.
"As a superstar, the best decision I ever made in my life was to let the young dogs play."

With the Celtics slumping, Irving has become the go-to presence for an answer from what seems like just about everybody on the planet. As a result, the All-Star signal caller has become quite outspoken as of late with his tune continuing to head in a downward direction.
“I didn’t really come into this game for there to be cameras in my face, be famous, be a celebrity, so it’s a little hard for me,” Irving recently told reporters, via Gary Washburn of The Boston Globe. “I wanted those things when I was younger but at this point in my career, I just want to play basketball at a very, very high level.”
As Irving gets set to test free agency this upcoming offseason, it seems more and more likely that the former Cleveland Cavaliers standout will be leaving Boston. With the New York Knicks continuing to serve as a possible landing spot, Irving might want to become more willing to play alongside up-and-coming talent as the lowly Knicks certainly needs all the help they can get going forward.
