The Boston Celtics head into Game 6 of the NBA Finals on Thursday night with their backs up against the wall. A win over the Golden State Warriors forces a Game 7, while a loss, well, results in them hanging their heads and falling short of winning the title.
However, this team is resilient and they're at home. Also, the Celtics are 3-0 in elimination games in these playoffs, while the Dubs are 0-3 in closeout games on the road.

The Celtics were on the brink of two separate occasions in the East Semis against the defending champion Milwaukee Bucks, but ultimately fought back and blew them out in Game 7 at home. In the East Finals, they also went to Game 7 against the Miami Heat and took care of business in front of the Boston faithful. As for the Dubs, they couldn't close out the Nuggets, Grizzlies, or Mavs on the road.
In fact, Monday's loss was the first time in the 2022 postseason that the C's dropped back-to-back games. There is no way Stephen Curry struggles again in Game 6 though which means the Celtics must bring their best in every way imaginable. That included Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown playing out of their minds, while Boston has to clean up the turnovers. That's unfortunately been their Achilles' heel across the last two contests.
