With the Boston Celtics leading by 15 points at the 4:48 mark of the fourth quarter, the Philadelphia 76ers were doing their best to tighten their defense in order to catch up during their game on Thursday in London. That said, Ben Simmons did not want Kyrie Irving to have a lot of space to operate and tried to fight through a screen. However, it resulted in him body checking Marcus Morris and sent him to the floor.
The veteran forward did not appreciate the hit he took from the former LSU star and he quickly stood up and pushed him. Their teammates, coaches and the referees had to separate them to avoid the situation escalating further and having a fight break out. The good news was cooler heads prevailed although Morris continued to have some choice words for Simmons after.

Morris received a technical foul for his actions and was surprisingly not ejected from the game. The league office though is expected to review the incident and he could face a suspension or receive a fine depending on what they decide on.
The Celtics ultimately won the game, 114-103. Jaylen Brown and Kyrie Irving led their charge and finished with a combined 41 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists to help extend their current winning streak to seven games. The C's also improved their record to 34-10 and continue to be on top of the standings in the Eastern Conference.
The Sixers on the other hand saw their four-game winning streak snapped and are now in ninth place in the East with a 19-20 win-loss slate.
