The league will never be the same. After 21 seasons, former MVP Kevin Garnett has decided to retire after completing a buyout with the Minnesota Timberwolves.
He brings along with him a horde of accolades and accomplishments, topped by his earlier-mentioned Maurice Podoloff trophy, an NBA championship and Defensive Player of the Year award with the Celtics, and a multitude of All-NBA, All-Defensive, and All-Star team selections.
With the news, the entire NBA world took to social media to express their reactions to the retirement of an all-time great.
