Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr knows a thing or two about Kyrie Irving's offensive prowess.

Prior to their duel with the Boston Celtics, Kerr admitted that Irving is a “huge challenge” for his team. Just a few years ago when Irving was a member of the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Warriors defense unleashed all their tactics on how to contain Uncle Drew in the NBA Finals.

Kerr knows that it's nearly impossible to stop Irving one-on-one. Just ask him about that 3-pointer over Stephen Curry which pretty much sealed the deal and gave Cleveland its first championship in over 50 years.

Given all the classic games that they've been thru, Steve Kerr has a good idea on how to effectively contain the 26-year-old. Per Adam Himmelsbach of the Boston Globe, the Warriors coach pointed out that the defense has to be built around Kyrie Irving's strengths:

Then again, Kerr knows that Irving — being the great player that he is — will adjust his game accordingly. He has an unlimited arsenal of offensive moves which he can unleash at any given moment. More often than not, the ball will swish the net. Irving will find holes in the defense and will abuse it.
