The Boston Celtics completed the only sweep of the 2022 playoffs first round after taking down the Brooklyn Nets in Game 4 on Monday. Kevin Durant and co. tried hard to extend the series, and at one point in the fourth quarter, it looked like they were coming back. Unfortunately, they just didn't have enough to beat Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown and the Beantown squad.

Naturally after the game, various NBA players reacted to the shocking sweep. To recall, there were talks about teams trying to avoid the Nets led by Durant and Kyrie Irving in the playoffs. Brooklyn just looked like title contenders on paper, and with the talent they have, they were expected to be tough opponents for any roster.

With that said, the Nets are on the receiving end of plenty of mockery. Paul Pierce got things started as he showed his support for the Celtics, while the likes of Michael Beasley and Draymond Green rubbed salt into Brooklyn's wound.

Kyle Kuzma, meanwhile, was live-tweeting the Nets-Celtics Game 4 and couldn't believe how Kevin Durant and Brooklyn played. According to the Washington Wizards forward, they just made life too easy for Jayson Tatum.

Props should be given to Ime Udoka and the Celtics. They prepared well to stop Durant from punishing them, never allowing the Nets to get any momentum or some sort of rhythm to stage a comeback.

Now, Boston gets some much-deserved break before heading to the second round. Meanwhile, Brooklyn will look to answer some major questions about their team as they go fishing.
