The Brooklyn Nets looked dead in the water against the New York Knicks on Wednesday night. But somehow, some way they pulled off an astonishing 28-point comeback against their cross borough rivals.
There's probably no spectator more satisfied about the result than Kevin Durant. The Nets star had a subtle dig ready after witnessing his squad storm back in Madison Square Garden.
“Nets fans were loud in the barc….I mean the garden tonight,” said Durant.

KD wasn't wrong. The “Brooklyn” chants got loud in MSG as his team came roaring back.

The Nets fell down by 28 points midway through the second quarter and managed to chop it in half entering the fourth. With Brooklyn still trailing by 14 points, Nets rookie Cam Thomas put the team on his back. He scored 16 of his 21 points in the final period to help double-up the Knicks 38-19 in the quarter.

For Nets fans, there hasn't been much to cheer about on the court of late after seeing their team stumble into an 11-game losing streak.
But with the team shaking things up via the Ben Simmons-James Harden trade, and Brooklyn winning their last two games in a row, there's suddenly reason for optimism.
