The Brooklyn Nets are widely expected to be title contenders next season with stars Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving leading the way as a dynamic duo.

Durant, who missed the entire 2019-20 season recovering from his Achilles tear, recently talked about what excites him the most about playing with Irving.

“I'm excited to see him cross the sh*t out a big on a switch and post up these small guards in the league,” Kevin Durant told Dorell Wright on the Text Message Show for The Players' Tribune about playing with Kyrie Irving.

“He's a different beast.”

Irving and Durant are essentially best friends off the court. They both signed four-year deals with the Nets in the summer of 2019 and are eager to lead Brooklyn to its first-ever NBA championship.
