The Oklahoma City Thunder managed to get back into the win column with a clutch 95-94 victory over the Denver Nuggets on Monday night. Their victory was somewhat reminiscent of last year's Thunder team with superstar point guard Russell Westbrook being the sole driving force of the team with 38 points on an efficient 16-of-28 shooting to go with nine rebounds and six assists.
As a result, superstar forwards Carmelo Anthony and Paul George rightfully took a backseat to the “Brodie” show. Despite taking a season-low six shots, Anthony said he was fine with the limited role on offense, according to Fred Katz of the Norman Transcript.
“I'm good with it, if we win,” Anthony said. “I'm cool with that, man. He had it going. Anytime he has it going, you gotta space it out, play off him and let him work.
“The ball will find us. As far as shots go, there's going to be nights like that, it's something we have to accept. It's different, but we have to accept that.”

Anthony registered just four points on 2-of-6 shooting while going o-for-3 from deep. However, he was not the only one to endure a cold shooting night as George went an abysmal 3-of-13 from the field.
The Thunder have had their fair share of trouble figuring out each other's roles on offense. That said, do not be surprised if Oklahoma City starts to implement some elements of last year's system into this team for the time being.
