Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum has not been made to look foolish too often during what has been an impressive rookie year to date. However, the young teenager did suffer a rare misstep off the court as he was caught looking at the wrong camera during a video shoot for a stats graphic on the Celtics telecast.

What makes the video so hilarious was the fact that someone actually needed to get Tatum’s attention, and the rookie pretty obviously mouthed the word “Oh” after realizing his mistake. He took it all in stride, though, as he went through his dribbling routine without much trouble.

The sight of Tatum looking pretty clueless has been a rare one for Celtics fans as the rookie has played a lot like a seasoned veteran through the first quarter of the season. As the stats from his now infamous camera gaffe video showed, he’s been particularly effective in the clutch for the Celtics.

Much like his little camera goof, Tatum will almost inevitably make more mistakes as his rookie year wears on. But it’s just part of the growing experience for the rising young star, who can only get better by learning from his mistakes.
