Dallas Mavericks head coach Rick Carlisle told local reporters that shooting guard Tim Hardaway Jr. is expected to play against the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday.

Hardaway Jr. missed practice on Friday due to an illness, but it looks like the Mavs guard is going to give it a go versus Memphis.

Dallas acquired Tim Hardaway Jr. from the New York Knicks in the Kristaps Porzingis trade. The 26-year-old has appeared in nine games with the Mavs and is averaging 16.9 points, 3.4 rebounds and 2.2 assists while shooting 41.9 percent from the field, 33.3 percent from beyond the arc and 75.0 percent from the free-throw line.
