NBA players are known to be big video gamers, and Detroit Pistons center Andre Drummond is no different than his peers. In fact, he told Tyler Erzberger of ESPN that he is a big fan of NASCAR games and Grand Theft Auto.
However, when it comes to Fortnite, the best player he has seen is his Pistons teammate Reggie Jackson.
“[It's] definitely Reggie Jackson, by far,” Drummond said. “He's the best player I've ever seen play Fortnite. I'm terrible at it, but I still play. [Reggie] gets me wins, so it looks good on my part, but I don't have to do anything. He plays [games] any chance he gets. Anytime he's not doing anything, he's probably playing. I'm pretty sure if I call him right now, he'll be playing.”

Jackson isn't the only player devoted to the game. Hart has played in several high profile tournaments and even rocked a pair of Fortnite sneakers. Minnesota Timberwolves star Karl-Anthony Towns has been known to stay up all hours of the night to get a few games in. Orlando Magic swingman Terrence Ross introduced it to his team where it quickly caught on.
It would be great for the Esports community to get a full tournament made up of NBA players. After all, there are certainly plenty of players who would like to challenge Drummond's claim that Jackson is the Fortnite champion.
