Detroit Pistons center Andre Drummond commends star power forward Blake Griffin for playing through a left knee injury in Games 3 and 4 of the playoffs against the Milwaukee Bucks.
Griffin was clearly injured, but wanted to play and help the Pistons. Detroit got swept by the Bucks, but the Pistons fans and players showed Griffin a lot of respect for playing through the ailment. The Pistons fans gave Griffin a standing ovation as he exited the floor in Game 4.
Detroit announced in April that Griffin underwent a successful arthroscopic procedure on his left knee. Drummond says the high-flyer is going to be 100 percent next season.

During the regular season, Griffin averaged 24.5 points, 7.5 rebounds and 5.4 assists while shooting 46.2 percent from the field and 36.2 percent from beyond the arc. The Pistons All-Star made the All-NBA third team.
In Griffin's absence in the postseason, Drummond struggled. The big man put up 14.3 points and 13.0 rebounds in the four-game series versus Milwaukee, but he shot just 44.4 percent from the floor, struggling with his touch around the basket.
For the Pistons to make more noise in the East next season, Drummond has to take his game to the next level.
