There are times in life when you'd like to say something good, but the words that came out of your mouth is something that you didn't mean to say.
That's literally what happened to Detroit Pistons big man Blake Griffin.
Blake Griffin was attending a mandatory interview about the upcoming All-Star Game. He was asked about his thoughts in playing for Team Giannis, and this is what he said.

Hey, at least he didn't mean it.
Still, it's very funny.

But let's give the All-Star forward a pass on this one. This is one of those rare interviews where he actually looks happy and isn't being interrupted by teammate Reggie Jackson.
For the first time since 2015, Griffin has been selected to participate in the All-Star game following his impressive second season with the Detroit Pistons. He's currently averaging 26.3 points, 8.1 rebounds and 5.4 assists while leading Detroit back to the Eastern Conference playoff race.
This is Griffin's sixth All-Star Game appearance, and first as a member of the Pistons.
With 26 games left in the season, the Pistons will need a strong push in order for them to keep the eighth and final spot in the East. A series of wins after the All-Star break could also propel Detroit to as high as the sixth spot, as they are currently only three games behind the sixth-seeded Brooklyn Nets.
In order for that to happen, Griffin will need to double his efforts on both ends of the floor. The Pistons worked hard all season just to be able to have a chance at making the playoffs. It would be a downer if they miss it.
