Derrick Rose’ magical comeback run continues, as he played the role of a hero in the Detroit Pistons’ 96-94 victory over the Indiana Pacers on Monday.
With Detroit down by one point with under 35 seconds left in regulation, the NBA’s youngest MVP calmly brought the ball down court and made his move after using Andre Drummond’s pick. Rose zigzagged his way through multiple defenders and finished a difficult left-handed shot in traffic.
The 31-year-old guard protected the ball nicely and managed to get off a shot over the outstretched hand of elite shot-blocker Myles Turner.

Meanwhile, Rose's inspiring run after overcoming a multitude of career-threatening injuries has captivated the hearts of millions of fans across the world.
Although not as springy as he once was during his MVP run with the Chicago Bulls, the three-time All-Star proved he can still be an effective player in this league during his tenure with the Minnesota Timberwolves last season.
Rose turned back the clock and scored a career-high 50 points in the Timberwolves' win against the Utah Jazz in November of last year.
Entering the game versus the Pacers, Rose was averaging 25.3 points on 64.6 percent shooting from the field, to go along with 2.3 rebounds, 5.0 assists, and one steal.
You can be sure that Rose is making an early case for the Sixth Man of the Year award.
The Pistons, who are still without star forward Blake Griffin, improved their record to 2-2.
