Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr thanked the Toronto Raptors players for their gesture in silencing the fans who were cheering when Kevin Durant went down with an injury in Game 5:

Durant returned to the Warriors' starting lineup on Monday night after missing almost an entire month due to a strained right calf. He immediately made his presence felt by hitting all of his three 3-pointers. He was off to a good start until the unfortunate incident in the second quarter took place.

Around the 10-minute mark of the second quarter, Durant was trying to drive to the basket against Raptors big man Serge Ibaka. As KD was about to drive, Ibaka stole the ball and started a fast break. However, the 10-time All-Star didn't get back in transition as he was already holding his right leg. He sat on one side of the court as fans started to cheer. Ibaka, Kyle Lowry, and Pascal Siakam immediately told the crowd to show some respect, which they obliged by chanting “KD! KD!” as Durant was being assisted back into the locker room.

Durant finished with 11 points, two rebounds, and a block.

Kevin Durant left Scotiabank Arena on crutches. He was also seen wearing a walking boot on his right foot, and it has been reported that he has torn his Achilles. He's scheduled to have an MRI on Tuesday to officially determine the severity of the injury.
