Physicians immediately came to Thompson's assistance. Several Warriors and Raptors players surrounded the fallen Thompson, showing their concern. Curry was crouching on the opposite side of the court, apparently in disbelief at the turn of events.
Thompson went to the locker room so doctors can evaluate his knee further. He went back to the court to shoot his free throws. Thompson made both freebies to put the Dubs in front, 85-80.

In the ensuing Raptors possession, Warriors center DeMarcus Cousins fouled Raptors power forward Pascal Siakam so Thompson can return to the locker room for further evaluation.
Thompson sustained a mild hamstring strain when he landed awkwardly after taking an awkward 3-point attempt in the fourth quarter of Game 2. As a result, he sat out Game 3.
There is no information yet regarding the extent of Thompson's injury. However, he has been ruled out of the game due to the injury.
