Brooklyn Nets superstar Kevin Durant joined the set of ESPN's “First Take” on Thursday morning. Amid his wide-ranging interview, the former No. 2 overall pick admitted that his in-game argument with Draymond Green played at least a small role in his decision to leave the Warriors.

Clearly, Durant wanted the ball in the closing seconds of regulation. In fact, he was flailing his arms in an attempt to get Green's attention.

Kevin Durant: A little bit, yeah for sure. Your teammate talk to you that way, you think about a bit… I’m not gonna lie about it.

Interestingly, it was Green who lobbied for Durant to join the Warriors after losing to the Cavs in the 2016 NBA Finals. Now, it seems Green is one of the reasons he decided to leave.

Durant officially joined the Nets on July 7 as part of a sign-and-trade deal. He's going to be a fine addition to Brooklyn's roster, but first the two-time champion must recover from a torn Achilles. He again confirmed Thursday that he's going to miss the entire 2019-20 season.

Kevin Durant's decision to leave the Warriors was disappointing for fans of the team, but it was clear that he was frustrated. Once he's recovered, he'll be looking to make waves with Kyrie Irving and the Nets.
