It would be pretty hard to comprehend what Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr is feeling right now. The Warriors lost another tough one on the road as they ended their Easter Sunday with a disappointing 117-111 loss against the Atlanta Hawks. Kerr was obviously frustrated given that the loss seemed to have been self-inflicted with the team having more fouls than assists.

“If I knew I would give you the answer,” Kerr said after being asked about the Warriors' fouling issue (via Nick Friedell of ESPN). “We talk about it every day. We talked about it before the game, talked about it at halftime. We lost the game because we fouled over and over and over again.”

The Warriors sent the Hawks to the line a total of 45 times on Sunday with Atlanta knocking down 35 of these. In a close game such as this, that's just gotta sting for Kerr and the rest of his coaching staff. Danilo Gallinari, who led the way for the Hawks with 25 points off the bench, almost single-handedly outshot the Warriors from the line as he shot 13-of-15 from the charity stripe while the Warriors, as a team, only made 15-of-21.

It clearly didn't help that the Warriors had an off-night when it comes to their three-point shooting. The team just shot 25% from outside the arc with Stephen Curry shooting just 3-of-12. That being said, Kerr was adamant that the main reason for the L was clearly the fouling issue and it's pretty hard to argue against that.
