San Francisco, CA – As Golden State Warriors second-year center James Wiseman gets closer to a return, he is receiving a blessing every day he steps on the court. Warriors fans can see the light at the end of the tunnel and nobody is seeing it clearer than Wiseman.

“I feel great. It's a blessing just to go up and down the floor,” Wiseman told ClutchPoints. “I haven't been able to do that for so long but, it's a blessing just to be out there. So I'm really grateful for that.”

Last season's No. 2 pick said it's been hard to rest and relax his mind the last 10 months. Being back on the court has put him in a better place mentally. He just started to participate in 5-on-5 workouts and Juan Toscano-Anderson and others have said he's looked great.

Right before his season-ending meniscus injury, the talented 7-footer was starting to figure things out in the NBA. Just when he was getting it going he suffered the biggest setback of his young career.

In his rookie season, Wiseman only played 39 games before being sidelined. He logged 21.4 minutes, 11.5 points while shooting 51.9 percent from the field, and 5.8 rebounds per game.

Steve Kerr and others thought he would return earlier this season, but things didn't play out that way. Since then, he's had a minor procedure on his knee to drain swelling, but nothing serious.

Now a return is looking clearer than ever and Wiseman is in good spirits and feels blessed he's made it to this point.
