The Golden State Warriors have the worst record in the NBA, but All-Star point guard D'Angelo Russell still enjoys coming to work.
The Warriors, who were named “Franchise of the Decade” by the Sports Business Journal, have a great work environment and people everywhere you look, according to Russell:
“I just think the quality of people. It's great people around here,” Russell said about the Warriors, via Logan Murdock of NBC Sports Bay Area. “They've been accustomed to winning, they're accustomed to bringing good people in. They just feel super jolly.”
The Warriors acquired Russell from the Brooklyn Nets in the Kevin Durant sign-and-trade deal. Russell signed a four-year, $117 million contract with the Dubs.

Golden State, after going to the NBA Finals five straight seasons, is not elite anymore. Superstar point guard Stephen Curry is out with a broken hand and All-Star shooting guard Klay Thompson is still rehabbing his ACL tear.
This season in Golden State is going to be about developing youngsters Eric Paschall, Jordan Poole and Ky Bowman. The Warriors are on their way to missing the playoffs for the first time in the Steve Kerr era.
Russell could be traded for the third time in his career. The lefty became eligible to be traded on Sunday.
