Golden State Warriors All-Star point guard D'Angelo Russell says a lot of teams — and not just the Dubs — are “flying under the radar” after the crazy offseason moves which took place this summer.
One of the biggest moves this offseason was the Los Angeles Lakers' acquisition of superstar big man Anthony Davis in a blockbuster trade with the New Orleans Pelicans. The Los Angeles Clippers also made a big splash by signing two-time Finals MVP Kawhi Leonard and trading for All-Star small forward Paul George.
The Houston Rockets weren't quiet either, as they acquired former MVP Russell Westbrook to reunite him with his ex-Oklahoma City Thunder teammate James Harden.
The Brooklyn Nets, Russell's former team, signed All-Stars Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant and DeAndre Jordan. The Warriors acquired Russell from the Nets in a sign-and-trade deal involving Durant.

Because of that, I think there are a lot of teams flying under the radar, to be honest. But when we’re halfway through the season, we’ll see how everyone looks and which teams are clicking.”
The Lakers, Clippers, Rockets, Warriors, Denver Nuggets and Utah Jazz are widely considered the six best teams in the Western Conference. A lot of people are sleeping on the Dubs since Durant is gone and star shooting guard Klay Thompson will miss a big chunk of the 2019-20 season recovering from his ACL tear.
As long as the Warriors have Stephen Curry and Draymond Green, though, they can never be counted out. Adding a 20-point scorer in D'Angelo Russell was a big move for Golden State, who is looking forward to being the underdogs for the first time in years.
