Minor League Baseball teams are notorious for setting up interesting promotions to attract fans to the ballpark. Without many marquee names, teams must get creative and one minor league team used Warriors superstar Kevin Durant to do just that.
The Los Angeles Dodgers Double-A affiliate, the Tulsa Drillers, are “honoring” Kevin Durant on Wednesday night by letting fans come to meet a snake at the ballpark. They even created a custom Drillers jersey special for Durant.
Our favorite snake will be back at ONEOK Field tonight for Bark in the Park! We even had a custom jersey made for him! pic.twitter.com/aQaymMuN88

Durant might slide into the Tulsa Drillers DMs and start an argument. This type of slander won't be tolerated by KD. Or at the very least he should respond with a snake emoji to show the Drillers he's not mad at all.
Durant will always be known as the ring chaser who joined the team that beat him. He'll always have to face this type of backlash during his career, but he's a two-time champion so I'm sure he would make that trade if he had to do it all over again.
The Drillers and the Dodgers have a stake in this beef. Tulsa is close enough where the vast majority of Tulsans are probably Oklahoma City Thunder fans. While many have moved on, there are still OKC fans that hold a grudge against KD.
And for the Dodgers, the Lakers are one of the Warriors new rivals after adding LeBron James to the mix. Of course, the Warriors are overwhelming favorites to win another championship, but LeBron's Lakers are only one or two pieces away from giving Steve Kerr and his squad some pause.
