Draymond Green is a stat sheet stuffer, and he was back at it again on Saturday night. When all was said and done, the Golden State Warriors star had one of the most unique stat lines in NBA history.
Green only finished the game with four points, but it was the rest of the stats that told the story. He had with 10 rebounds, nine assists, five blocks, and four steals.
That was the first time in NBA history that anyone has finished a playoff game with 4+ points, 10+ rebounds, 9+ assists, 5+ blocks, and 4+ steals.
As impressive as that stat line was, he almost did something even more impressive. If he would have been able to score one more point and get one more steal, he would have had the first 5×5 game in playoff history.

Green was once again a force on the defensive end, something that isn't new for Green and his defense in the third quarter was a turning point in the game. He, along with Klay Thompson who was hitting everything from deep, helped lead the Warriors all the way back. Green also gave the Warriors a pep talk at halftime according to Steve Kerr, and it seemed to work.
“[Green] used the John Wooden line,” Warriors’ coach Steve Kerr said via Melissa Rohlin of The Mercury News. “He said, ‘Be quick but don’t hurry.'”
The Warriors' work isn't done yet and they are going to need another good performance from Green in Game 7 if they want to advance to the NBA Finals.
