Through his first six seasons in the NBA, Draymond Green has established himself as one of the core pieces of the puzzle for the Golden State Warriors. He has been a major part in helping the franchise experience much success in the last several seasons that have included a few deep playoff runs.
During Game 4 of the Western Conference semifinals playoff series against the New Orleans Pelicans on Sunday afternoon, Green has joined elite company in team history alongside a pair of Hall of Famers.
With his fourth rebound tonight, Draymond Green is now the third player in Warriors history to record 800 career rebounds in the postseason, joining Wilt Chamberlain (922) and Nate Thurmond (896).

The 28-year-old has been a consistent factor on the glass for the Warriors as a steady source of rebounding. He has also proven to be quite a durable player up to this point in his career playing in at least 70 games in each of his first six years. Green's totals in that department may have slightly dropped due to the presence of Kevin Durant, but he has proven to be a major factor in that aspect of the game.
He has put that on full display in the playoffs recording double figures in rebounding four times while hauling in at least 18 boards twice over that span. Green has been a factor on the glass against the Pelicans averaging 11.3 rebounds in the first four games of the series while tallying at least nine in each contest.
With Green still in the prime of his career, he could eventually become the all-time leader in rebounding in franchise history at some point next season in the playoffs. All of this may hinge on him staying healthy to add this unique feat to his name to further strengthen his resume as one of the game's best power forwards. In the meantime, the Warriors have moved to a command 3-1 series lead with a chance to reach their fourth straight Western Conference Finals with a win in Game 5 on Tuesday.
